At StableBusiness, we believe your stable's information belongs to you, not us. Our goal is simple: provide great horse stable management software while treating your data with the same care we'd expect for our own business.

Our Privacy Promise

We never sell your personal information or your stable's data.
You always own your business data.
You can export your information whenever you choose.
We only collect information needed to operate StableBusiness.
We use trusted, industry-standard providers to securely store your information.
We don't use advertising trackers or sell your browsing activity.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use StableBusiness, you may provide information including your name, email address, phone number, stable or business name, horse owner contact information, horse records, veterinary information, vaccination records, medication schedules, feed schedules, lesson schedules, billing and invoice information, uploaded documents, photos, internal notes, and messages created within the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and manage information relating to your customers and horses.

Subscription payments are securely processed through Stripe. StableBusiness never stores your complete credit card number, security code (CVV), or other sensitive payment credentials. We receive only limited payment information such as payment status, billing dates, transaction identifiers, and subscription status.

To keep StableBusiness reliable and secure, we automatically collect certain technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, login history, authentication events, error logs, feature usage, and date and time of access.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate and improve StableBusiness — including creating your account, authenticating users, managing horse records, scheduling lessons, creating invoices, processing subscription payments, sending notifications and reminders, generating reports, responding to support requests, improving software functionality, preventing fraud, monitoring system security, and complying with legal obligations. We never sell your personal information.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect or Sell

StableBusiness does not sell your personal information, your customers' information, your horse records, or your browsing activity. We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies, store your full payment card information, or read your emails or business records except when you ask us for assistance or when necessary to maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

4. Artificial Intelligence Features

Some StableBusiness features may use artificial intelligence to assist with drafting emails, summarizing information, or generating suggestions. Information submitted to AI-powered features is used only to provide those features. AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors or omissions. You remain responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before relying upon it.

5. Cookies

StableBusiness uses only cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, including login authentication, secure sessions, user preferences, and security protection. We do not use advertising cookies. If analytics cookies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before they are used.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only when necessary to provide StableBusiness. Trusted service providers include Supabase (database, authentication, and secure storage), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and cloud infrastructure providers that host and deliver the Service. We may also disclose information when required to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful legal requests, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights or safety of StableBusiness or others. We do not sell customer information to third parties.

7. How We Protect Your Information

We use commercially reasonable safeguards including encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS, secure authentication, Row-Level Security (RLS) to isolate customer data, restricted administrative access, routine software updates, security monitoring, and encrypted backups where appropriate. While no online service can guarantee perfect security, we continually work to protect your information using modern security practices.

8. When Our Team Can Access Your Data

Your stable's information is private. Our employees and contractors do not routinely access your business records. Authorized personnel may access limited account information only when you request technical support, we investigate a reported problem, we investigate suspected fraud or abuse, it is necessary to maintain the security or integrity of the Service, or we are legally required to do so. Any access is limited to authorized personnel and only for as long as necessary.

9. Data Retention

We retain customer information while your account remains active. When an account is closed, we will notify you by email before permanently deleting your data. Active data is generally removed within thirty (30) days of that notification. Certain information may be retained longer when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes. Backup systems may temporarily retain encrypted copies until scheduled expiration.

10. Data Export

Because your data belongs to you, StableBusiness will provide an export of your available business records upon request. To request a data export, contact support@thestablebusiness.com with the subject 'Data Export Request'. We will prepare your export within 2 business days. We encourage customers to request their export before permanently deleting their account.

11. Your Privacy Rights

You may request to access your information, correct inaccurate information, export your business data, delete your account, or request deletion of personal information. To make a request, contact support@thestablebusiness.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers remain responsible for obtaining permission to store customer information, maintaining accurate records, protecting account credentials, and complying with applicable privacy laws in their jurisdiction.

13. Children's Privacy

StableBusiness is designed for businesses and adults. It is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that such information has been collected, it will be promptly deleted.

14. International Users

StableBusiness operates from the United States. If you use the Service from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When material changes are made, we will notify customers through the Service or by email. The updated Privacy Policy becomes effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
